Educational Programme
The educational Program focuses on the development of the physical, emotional, and above all the spiritual dimension of the child in addition to academic development.
Extracurricular activities
Children can choose within a variety of after school activities:
- Piano lessons.
- Singing lessons (bhajans and western singing).
- Drama, dance and acting (christmas play and the next play for Sahasrara Puja).
- Arts and crafts (painting, decoupage, collage etc.).
- Cooking.
- Computers.
- Board games.
- Outing in the nature.
- Sports: football (for boys), badminton, ping pong.
Boarding & Pastoral care
After school and at the weekends the children are housed in the residential facility of Centrassi where they are looked after by a team of Sahaja Yogi aunties and uncles. Their job is to ensure the overall wellbeing of the children and to promote a safe, healthy environment for the children which reflects the culture and values of Sahaja Yoga.
Uncles and aunties operate under the leadership of the Housekeeper, who has extensive experience in working with children in a Sahaja Yoga environment. She is responsible for ensuring that the people dealing directly with the children are properly trained, as well as overseeing the day-to-day running of household affairs.
There should be a competition in trusting, in being honest, in being kind, of being in service.
