Participation in the Sarvego Festival

On 5 June 2020, the students of class 4 and 5 of CISS participated in the Sarvego Festival, a festival dedicated to books for children and young people that involved numerous schools in the Borbera Valley.
The event took place over several meetings throughout the summer, each dedicated to a different theme linked to the Valley, from nature to animals, to the importance of this area in the struggle for liberation during the Second World War.
Our children participated in the meeting, held in Rocchetta Ligure, with the author of the book Una Partigiana di nome Tina, focused precisely on the liberation of Italy by the partisans.
For the occasion, our children intervened proposing a reinterpretation of the song Bella Ciao, developing the theme of freedom in a more intimate and spiritual key.
They also read some poems, written by themselves, always linked to the concept of freedom according to their feelings.
