Drama

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely Players;

As You Like I, William Shakespeare

For us, drama encapsulates the variegated expression of human emotion distilled into a package that allows for a unique detachment and observation of the throes, woes and wonders that humanity, as a great troupe of more or less accomplished players, perform on the daily.

We explore this rich shared heritage with reference to the classic playwrights – Aeschylus, Sophocles – early modern masters such as Shakespeare and Marlowe, all the way down to the modern greats such as Arthur Miller.

Our aim is to create, cultivate and curate the thespians of tomorrow that have garnered knowledge of articulation, enunciation, and assimilation as part of a traditional upbringing in drama avec elan.

Occasionally, we may lapse into ‘light’ plays such musicals on the whim, but prefer to keep it sober, gritty, and contemporary. Currently, we are producing Spongebob and the Tragedy of the Commons, which is a social commentary on the overfishing and exploitation of the fishing industry worldwide and the damage it does to coral reefs.
